Understanding the Importance of Diet in Losing Weight

Three Key Elements for a Healthy Diet

Friends, everyone is interested in losing weight these days. In India, 40% of the population is overweight, and those who are overweight always want to know if there is any medicine or pill that can help them lose weight immediately.

It is not possible to lose weight instantly. It would be best if you understand your food habits well. Exercise can also help you lose weight, but if I give the movement a score of 10, then 90 points will depend on your diet. So, you can understand that diet is the most important thing.

Three Key Elements

You should know three things about your diet if you want to lose or maintain weight. If you know these three things? You can either increase or decrease your weight as per your requirement. I keep a chart of these three things with me and give a chart to those who want to lose weight and those who want to gain weight. I also provide the same chart to those who want to maintain weight.

1. Fruits and Vegetables

The chart contains three things – fruits and vegetables, salads, and whatever amount of fruits and vegetables you can consume. The first thing in the chart is the best for losing weight: fruits and vegetables, and salads as much as possible.

2. Salads

Salads are another important component of a healthy diet. Consuming these can provide a variety of essential nutrients that are beneficial for overall health and well-being.

3. Low-Calorie Foods

“We call it ‘twenty rupees meal’ – if you eat it, your weight will decrease. If we count it as rupees, we say, ‘Eat low calories.’ You will consume fewer calories if you keep eating the twenty rupees meal, which includes bread, porridge, rice, and roti. It’s good value for a hundred rupees, including all the grains. I still eat rice comfortably and think that as long as I eat rice, my weight won’t increase.

We call it a hundred rupees meal which helps reduce weight. Remember, if you want to lose weight, you should eat the twenty rupees meal, which includes fruits and vegetables.

Four fruits are available for a hundred rupees – mango, banana, sapodilla, and grapes. These four foods have high calories and are available for a hundred rupees. Who knows what you can get for five hundred rupees?

You get fried food like samosas, kachoris, sweets, pizza, burgers, and everything with butter, cheese, or oil for five hundred rupees. All of it, including Jalebi and everything else, costs you five hundred rupees note.”

If you eat junk food, your weight will increase, leading to illnesses. Food that costs 500 rupees, such as fried food that contains oil, is not good for your health. Food that costs 100 rupees, such as grains that are high in calories, could be better for your weight.

The 20 rupees food comprising fruits and vegetables is good for your weight. If you want to control or increase your weight, then reduce the fruits and vegetables a little and start eating the 100 rupees food.

Remember these three things:

The 500 rupees of food will make you gain weight, the 100 rupees of food will maintain your weight, and the 20 rupees of food will help you lose weight. If you eat junk food that costs 500 rupees, your weight will increase, and you may develop heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity.
